is there an option on the sky hd box to select Dolby Digital over PCM or Stereo? I've never heard of Sky HD so know nothing about it.

Help sky hd and denon dolby digital
Hi
I've got a denon avrx2000 trying to get 5.1 out of sky. I only get some channels. Hd channels saying signal dolby digital but it does not come up as dolby digital
I have optical from sky hd box to the denon. Changed inputs selects/assigns to digital etc still no luck.
Just tried to watch bbc1 hd and all I can get is PLII

Have you tried pressing and holding either the of the SOUND MODE buttons (either MUSIC, MOVIE or GAME) at the bottom of the remote?
