whenever I have friends of family watching a dvd and I have to turn on the captions or subs for them, I notice the brightness and contrast on my lcd to flicker or diminish. Never when I don't turn them on. any idea ? the bandwith of the video card not high enough ? white peaks ? I don't notice as much when subs or captions are yellow ( Columbia titles for instance ).
the lcd is quite old model, from 1995.
