Let's say you have 3 "A" speakers as main (L/C/R), 2 "SA" as surround. In a 6.1 setup, what will you use for surround back? Another "A" or "SA"?

What is the reason?

Thanks,

Without knowing exactly what speakers you are using generally the "SA" speakers will work just fine assuming they are monopole - there's not a whole lot of information being sent to the surround back channel. Keep in mind that a using a single surround back speaker can have imaging problems, it's better to go 7.1 and use 2 surround back speakers. Most 6.1 receivers will drive 2 speakers on the surround back channel

Thanks tin ear.

In my case actually the "SA" is a tripole and it's 4 ohm load.

But If I parallel 2 of them that will make a 2 ohm * 2 load. It's kinda "heavy" to my receiver.
