I just ordered the KD switcher/scaler. Next thing I'm looking to do is to get a pull down screen to use in front of my existing 16x9 fixed mount screen. It seems the least expensive route is to get a larger 16x9 screen and only use 2/3 of the total length.
Is there a good, safe and easy way to add masking to the screen itself so that I don't need to use a curtain etc. Maybe some sort of iron on patch or flexible paint or something. Seems like a paint or stain would work best but I'm concerned about it cracking or bleeding through when rolled up.
