I have the WD TV hooked up to an Acer LCD Monitor X213W.

the monitor works fine with the PS3 when set to 720p - though not listed amognst supported resolutions (see below) - nonetheless it works fine (though doesn't work with 1080i/p). However it doesn't show anything when hooked up to the WD TV. I've even set the WDTV (via hooking up to another monitor) to output only 720p and still nada.

Any idea?

Also in case I'm SOL with this, what I am looking for is something to play my high def AVCHD .ts files from my Hauppaugge HD PVR, ideally something that can play them via a network connection would be great, as I wouldn't have to transfer them to an external hard drive as I have to with the WD TV.

any ideas?
