OK guys, looking for help again. In trying to converge my recently acquired sony 1031q I ran across a problem. I have been following the Boyz Toyz 1031 primer and got to the part where I need to adjust the with of the red and blue. It says to use the width coils on the DA circuit board instead of the width controls on the DB board. Fine. I found them. Only problem is that I found the coil for the Blue adjustment is broken! The little screw inside is broken. So it won't adjust wider or narrower. The width control on the DB board is not sufficient to adjust the blue... so I'm stuck.


Question:

Anyone know the value of this coil, or if I will be able to find a replacement?

Chip out the broken slug as it's called, and go to a TV shop that might still have an old tube type set lying around. Any new ferrite slug will pretty much do the trick.
