Hey guys and gals! I need some advice on a Samsung HCR4755W.


The other night I was watching as the picture got very fuzzy and I began to smell the most dreadded of smells. That is the very potent smell that burning electronics puts out.


The next morning, I went and purchased a new TV as I was about ready to upgrade anyway, but I am a cheap-o. If I can fix this TV for $50 and sell it for $100, I will consider that a mission accomplished! I wouldn't know how to dispose of this monsterious thing anyway!


Any ideas?

Well what you might wanna do is donate the tv to a local repair center, or sell it.

Its probably a capacitor thats blown out.
