Hey Everyone,

Long time follower first time poster. I recently bought a new home and ready to put a dedicated home theater in. The room is fairly big (13w x 17L) and will be light controlled. I have done some research and have found the following projectors in my range ($2500)

Panasonic AE400U (leaning towards this one)

Epson 8500U

Mitsubishi HC6800

Benq W6000

I will be upgrading my receiver as well and given that I am not interested in 3D at this time I will be getting the Onkyo 607 or Denon AVR790. Given the price of the Onkyo I may jump on that now. I will be getting a bluray player to go with this setup. For the screen I am thinking of getting a 106" Cinetension 2 electric screen. My throw will be around 14-15 feet depending on what is optimal. I am not sure what type of gain or matte to get for the screen and was wondering if anyone could help me match a projector with the correct screen. It will mainly be used for HDTV and Movies, not much gameing. If anyone could provide some advise on my setup that would be much appreciated.
