I did a search, but it seems that no one has come across this problem before.
I received the KD-CTC transcoder today. I have the progressive output from my Toshiba 3750 plugged into it. Then I use a VGA Switchbox cable (male DB15 both ends) to connect the CTC to the AE100's PC-in.
The problem is that the projected image looks totally washed out. It doesn't matter what I set the brightness or contrast to.
I know this isn't right. I have used a friend's KD-CTC, and it worked fine. The dip switch settings that I have tried on the CTC are:
The manual saids that dip switches should be set as follows: 1=off, 2=on, 3=off. I have tried all 4 combinations with switches 4 and 5.
I have also tried 1=2=3=off, but then I don't get a picture at all.
If you have the KD-CTC with the AE100, what dip switch settings are you using? What about the VGA cable - is it a straight through or crossed?
Thanks in advance.
