I am in a near future starting to build my hometheatre, the room will be 11.9feet wide(3,6m) and about 22feet+ long (7m+). I will build a baffle wall and higly treat the room. 2 rows of seating and it will be a 7.2.4 system with full martys 18¨dayton+6000dsp. The screen will be a elite screen acustic 4k(is it good?). I will cross the speakers at 80hz so no need for deep bass. I currently have JBL es90 5.1 system powerd through my cheap onkyo AVR in a living/bedroom. I know Acoustic treatment, more power and a heavier AVR will do alot, but thinking of buying all speakers new, so recomendations for a identical LCR setup. 100% movies and looking for real midbas, rich detail and overall great sound for movies! Have looked online on: M&K Sound LCR 750 and JBL Synthesis 4306 Studio Monitor, but are theese a upgrade from what i have? some other tips for me? Looking for a theatre experience at reference level! (living in Sweden)

at $500 per i would say jbl towers from the 500 series when on sale might be the best bang for buck..i don't know if you have access to those though..

Those JBLs you mentioned should do the trick I would think with their compression drivers.

These are no longer available, but the 708's should be.

A more cost-effective way would be 3x580 or 590 towers across the front behind the screen, plus good subs.

Reference level home theater focus, Sweden, I'd have to agree with the recommendation for the JBL 590's. With a sale price of $500 I think nothing else comes close...its actually hard to believe JBL can afford to sell them that cheap. Heck, wait for the sale and grab 3 of them and just sit on them until your ready.

Correct but Canton should be easily avail in Sweden as they are made in Germany. Just showing him the different models.
