I am in the middle of trying to remove my M&K driver from my MX125MK2 Dual 12" Sub as I believe the coil is bad cause it is popping and want to send it to be repaired. I have removed the screws and am trying to remove the driver without success. Is it glued into the cabinet? How do I remove it?

I had to remove the driver to have the surround replaced once in my old V2B and yes, after removing all the screws ,you'll have to carefully pull the speaker away from the cabinet. They use a very tacky sealent and I think there's a thin gasket on it. I used the thinnest mini flat head screwdriver in my Radio shack set. Came right out. Another way that might work is supporting the sub with the driver facing down and allowing gravity to drop it out.(may take awhile or this may not even work, maybe someone else can chime in.
