I just purchased my first replay, rtv5508, and so far I have not been
able to download the full channel listing for directv Boston satellite.
Directv National seems to work fine. I have been through several frustrating weeks trying to work with replay service, through email and phone, but no resolution yet.
The problem is I get a "network receive error" when trying to download the channel listing info during setup. Since it works ok for directv national I don't think I have a network problem.
Customer support has suggested doing a net connect using the ### zones trick, but the problem is the rtv never registers directv boston as my service, so net connect stil won't grab the right channel listing.
Is there a way to register the proper satellite service without successfully completing network setup?
