I have a small living room and looking to add a audio system to my new HDTV.

I do not have the space to do a full 5.1 or 7.1 setup so I was thinking of trying a 3.1 setup.

Try to go out and listen to as many as possible. You might decide entry level isn't good enough for speakers that can last 20+ years.
