Looking for something that functions just like Orb (serving up TV, Video, Audio and Pictures) but doesn't require a connection through an intermediate server (and doesn't have Orb's bugs).


Host PC is running Windows XP MCE 2004. Clients would be WM5 Phone Edition, Windows Mobile 2003 Second Edition, Windows XP MCE 2005, Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, and Windows 2000 Professional connecting through Internet as well as local network.


Tried Turnstyle Andromeda but this doesn't work using Pocket PC WMP. Something like that would be perfect though.

Check out Doug Berret's Webguide 4, I believe that can do what you want but have only used it on an internal network, not sure how well itw orks over the net, but it should work, and even allow you to program shows to record within MCE

Thanks for the reply shadymg. Unfortunately Webguide 4 requires MCE 2005. I am going to give TVersity a try even though it is still a beta. I will post my results just in case anyone is interested.
