I bought this TV last November. Moved from the USA to Brazil with my TV. Everything was fine when I was in the USA, I had not even 50 hours trough my TV. Arriving at Brazil, I plug it on and notice a 4" thick vertical black bar in the middle of the screen, from top to bottom. It doesn't go away, no matter what input I select. REALLY sad about this and I'm afraid I can't have it fixed(Does Panny warranty works in Brazil?). So if anyone knows what that can be, please help. Thanks much in advance

It could just be that a connector came loose in the TV during the move - it's been known to happen. It might be a quick simple fix.

But Panasonic's policy is that the warranty is only valid in the country of purchase, so Panasonic Brazil may not repair it under warranty since it's a US model.

Thanks Randy, much appreciated. Do you have any idea what I should be looking for? I just opened the Panel and can't see anything loose, but I gotta say that I'm very naive when it comes to TV inside electronics

Camster, no insurance. They don't cover electronics as far as I'm concerned.

thanks
