I'm considering an upgrade to my current Dennon deck (~5 years old) and would like to hear your thoughts or get pointed to the best threads to read on the subject. My budget is around ~$1000 but for the right piece I can stretch a little. I'm considering the Pioneer Elite VSX-84TXSI because it will upscale my DVD's and non HD channels on my Dish Network setup. Is there another one I should be considering?


Current Set up is:

Pioneer Elite 510HD (Only 1 DVI connection, and does only 480p or 1080i)

Fronts are Polk RT3000p

Rears are Polk RT 1000p

DVD players is PS3
