I am trying to reach native resolution with my new Pioneer 503CMX

Current PC Config-

Dell 8100

P4 @1.7Ghz

64MB Nvidia GeForce2 Ultra

Santa Cruz Turtle Beach Sound Card

I have tried (using a registered version) to create a custom resolution of 1280x768 - for simplicity I just selected the preset one listed as PDP.

I am using the digital output to go into the DVI slot of the Pio 503.

But I cannot seem to create the custom resolution.

Is the 64MB Nviidia not capable of accepting this custom resolution for Digital output??

Any help would be appreciated -- before I consider a new card

I would not think you would need a custom resolution to do 1280x768. Isn't that a standard resolution for that video card?

Good Luck!

Michael,

1. Start powerstrip

2. Click on advanced timing options

3. Click on custom resolutions

4. Select 1280x768(PDP)

5. Click on add custom resolution

6. Powerstrip will then ask you to restart your computer to see if the video card has accepted the new resolution.

7. After rebooting, right click on the desktop, then select properties.

8. In the settings tab, one of the resolutions should be 1280x768.

This worked on my Radeon LE (7075 drivers).

Good Luck!
