I just bought the CS-3X processor and ADA AMPX4 amplifier to power my rear speakers for that new 6.1 sound. However I have a BIG problem on where to place my rear centers. The problem is I have no back wall (actually it's like 12-14ft away from the listening position and there's a big wall unit on it with no shelves). I can't place them on stands either due to small kids. It seems my only option is to mount some very small, unobtrusive speakers like Bose Acoustimass speakers on the ceiling (about 3-4ft back of listening position) and aim them downwards. Is this a good idea? And how good are these Bose speakers to use as rear centers? (Someone also suggested the idea of mounting dipole speakers on the ceiling--is this a good idea, also?) Thanks for any advice!
