I have the following system:

Intel DG45ID Motherboard w. HDMI and DVI out.

4 GB memory.

Vista 32 Home Premium.

FFDShow w. advanced FFDShow for DVD playback to resize to 720p.

Pioneer 508XD (handle [email protected] hz) and (Sanyo Z2 720p/1080i).

Zoom Player.

AnyDVD HD.

Onkyo SR875.

I would REALLY REALLY REALLY like to have a setup the automatically detects the resolution & refreshrate of video material and automatically set the display to the correct setting.

I have read the manual for Reclock, but have some addition questions.

1. The only way I can get it to automate the process with DG45ID motherboard is with both Reclock and Powerstrip installed, right?

2.

If I have a 24 fps source what is the script to automatically change the screen resolution to 1080p @ 23,976 Hz?

If I play a 25 fps source what is the script to automatically change it to 720p @ 50 hz (or 48?) ?

If I play a 29.97 fps (30 fps NTSC) source what is the script to automatically change it to 720p @ 60 hz?

3. Another thing is that I have both HDMI and DVI where the setting should only apply to the 1 screen, since my Sanyo Z2 Projector only have 720p out, so I should always be 720p when turned on.

I've never used Reclock or Powerstrip for that matter, so hope you'll be kind and help. Since this is the one thing missing in the big puzzle
