I posted a while ago regarding a couple of problems with the Runco 850,namely in regards to the brightness shift problem that this pj exhibits.
All sorts of tests and upgrades have been done, even an 852 cpu board fitted,but still the problem persists.In issue 27 Widescreen review there is a test on a HDS330, same as Runco 850.They spend just about an entire page discussing the issue but have no solutions other than it is a feature of this pj(not a very desirable feature).Can this circuit be dissabled or the pj modified so as not to exhibit this feature.Someone in CRT land must know the answer.
