I'm curious about vertical lens shift and which projector might work for me. My screen is an SMX 2.35 screen that has a viewable width of 110" wide and a diagnol of 119.5". My throw distance is going to be 16.5' from a small shelf at the back of my theater.
The question I have is, if I place the projector on the shelf pointing straight ahead, the projector will sit about 25" above the top of the screen! Does anyone know if the Sony Pearl or JVC RS-1 would have enough lens shift to drop the image enough to fit the screen? I'm also planning on using the Prismasonic FE1500R.
