I'm looking for a new video card to replace my ATI 9600pro AIW and 9200se. Currently I have to use the 9200 for the DVI to my Sony RPJ HDTV.I have found an MSI FX5900Ultra Series for a good price. There are some intesting specs in the manual. This is a copy and paste from it.
"ADVANCED DISPLAY PIPELINE WITH FULL NVIDIA NVIEWTM
CAPABI LITIES
§ DVD and HDTV-ready MPEG-2 decoding up to 1920x1080i
resolutions.
Integrated NTSC/PAL TV encoder supporting resolutions up to
1024x768 without the need for panning with built-in Macrovision
copy protection."
Anybody else use this card or have any input? Can't justify the 400 price tag of a 6800 or a X800.
