Hi I currently own Bose Acoustimass 15 (Yes I know no one likes Bose).

I have a Pioneer Elite SC-25 which I purchased last week on close out .

I want to achieve 7.1 surround. Would it be possible to purchase two

B&W CM5 or Audyodine Focus 140 to use as my right and left main and connect the rest of the Bose as my surrounds and center channel. This way I can combine the two products saving some cash and get a much better music listening environment.

Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks

I would not use the Bose as a center channel with either the B&W or the Dynaudio L/R. It is so different from them in timbre that you would be better off with a "phantom" center until you can get a center that matches. For surrounds, the Bose will be an adequate (temporary) solution.

I don't see a problem using your bose as surrounds. Just make sure you match your center to your fronts. If not there will be a noticeable change when the audio changes position around the room, like in a 5.1 movie.

Thank You Kal.

If I match the B&W with their center CM I would simply not use one of the Bose cubes correct.

Between the Dyne Focus and B&W CM which would you suggest. I am trying to really do this so I can enjoy music more.
