of course anyone that is desperate for 3.0 would have already gone through the 3.0 pdf manual and noticed that on page 20 there is an image of the main menu that is of not dissimilar quality as mine.


actually, from the tone of some of the posts, i wouldn't be surprised if people started quizzing RTV about potential discrepancies in the manual before they even have the software http://www.avsforum.com/ubb/wink.gif


and no, i only shake, listen, feel the presents to see if i can guess... that's what geeks do!

well, in my limited experience, its only got one semi-transparent part: the verbose description area (i.e.: the part below the time in the area referred to as the "Program information" area on page 63 of the 2.0 paper manual), and it is only semi-transparent. the other parts are (still) opaque.


i think upon reflection, most people will realize that opacity is a good thing, otherwise, some show content may make it impossible to read the listings. (think of some bad web pages you've been to that have strange background images that clash with the page text)

FYI:


The scary man screen tells you to go to ReplayTV.com and click on "Overview" to learn about the new features.


Uh...I did that...no mention of 3.0 anywhere. Click "Features" - still nothing.


Click "Details" next to "The ReplayTV Service delivers new and enhanced features to your ReplayTV as soon as they are made available." Nope.


Oh well...guess that scary guy doesn't know much.


Also, I had a hell of a time finding the Demo Days link (thanks TiVo Forum) since the link on Replay's 'Events' page doesn't work. Thought I'd check out the one near me.
