I understand a HiDef FM/AM broadcast system was introduced. Apparently this is capable of delivering true CD quality audio on FM frequencies and FM quality sound in AM frequencies. Several broadcast stations/system including National Public Radio has apparently already adopted the system and Panasonic already has a tuner for the car radio.
It would be great if the nextgen receivers have this tuner built-in. Anyone have any info on which manufacturer/s may be introducing it soon?
