Any one out there use hi fi noise protection?

The idea is to attenuate all frequencies evenly, and correct for the occlusion problems.

I am starting to fit some people with them (for work) and am interested to know just how well they work. I havn't heard back from the people who I have fit - and I assume thats 'cause there happy...

Do music still sound as good?

What's "hi fi" about ear plugs? Or is it that you want the protectors to be "hi fi"? What is the application?

For HT I simply turn the mofo down. I really only use earplugs for live music, and it's hard to tell what the actual effect is. With the little foam cylinders, it's good enough, and the plugs are comfortable enough for a couple hours.

I mean ear plugs that claim to keep the origial sound quality the same, just lower volume. They are primarily used by musicians.

I sell them at work but have not had the chance to test them myself yet.

Check out any hearing clinic to get some.

I will be recieving some generic-fit ones in about two weeks.

There is also custom fit ones availible (usually 3x the cost).

Not up here. you just ask for musician plugs.

The custom fit ones we sell can be fit with either 9dB,15dB, or 20dB attenuation. And the filters can be easily swapped to use a different attenuation. As well if your ear canal permits the filter can be countersunk.

Look at etymotic research. They make the exact product you are looking for.
Along with excellent earphones (ER-4).
