Hello, first post here...


Just picked up an LG 55LH90 and in the few hours that it's up and running, I'm in awe of how incredible it looks...


I only did some basic tweaks via the Picture Wizard and wasn't all that crazy about it...I think the Standard Default Settings with some minor tweaks to Brightness and Contrast helped more than that wizard...


Was thinking of getting that Avia II disk for starters, but also read something about a hidden menu on this TV with some additional A/V settings? Unless I'm wrong on the model I was reading about, I'm supposed to hit and hold Menu on TV, then hit and hold Menu on the Controller...but I never get the option to put in the 0000 password.


I have firmware v3.13.1


Is this the correct procedure?

PS yes, would love to get this prof callibrated, but just don't have that kind of cash right now...

No user SM after Firmware 3.07. A techie is required to use the SM with a Special Remote. You can get into the THX Mode by punching in a backwards L on the Remote Keypad starting from 8.


The new line of LG LE TV's appear to possibly have an upgrade option via wireless? (Doesn't appear to have happened!)
