Hiding the speaker wires

I really can't complain. My basement was redone before I moved in. In-Wall ethernet, TV cable, the works!

Too bad nobody thought to include Home Theatre Speaker jacks in the wall...

Does anybody out there have some creative solutions to hiding 3 wires that will feed my rear left, right and center speakers? Right now I've run it all together down one edge of the sitting area and tossed a throw rug over it. Maybe I have to live with this.

Any sort of really flat tube type stuff that I could feed it through to reduce the wire itself from being stomped on? Is there an overhead solution? Some discrete conduit?? Maybe a chant that will make it invisible? :)

Some people will use baseboard moulding with a carved out area on the back side, or you couldinstall a chair rail moulding to do the same thing. With carpet, it seems to be possible for some to tuck the wires between the carpet and baseboard.

If you have ceiling access, and the joists run front to back, then a ceiling solution would be possible (or just on top of a dropped ceiling)
