Hiding Wires for Plasma TV

Hey everyone, I'm sort of a newbie to this area. I recently bought a 42" plasma TV. Now, I'd like to hang it on my wall, but I do not want to cut into the drywall to run the cables inside the wall. I what thinking about purchasing something like this...

http://cableorganizer.com/surface-ra.../latching.html

then painting it the same as my wall color. There is a dresser under the TV so really, you would only see at most 2 feet of the wire duct. Does anyone have any experience with this? Does this sound like a good idea or a bad idea? Thanks in advance.

I use a very similar product over here in the UK it looks very nice, and once painted blends in with the wall.
Raceway (conduit type molding) is good for retrowiring. But, the best look is just to wallfish the interconnects. Here are some jobs we did.

I don't know were you are but in my part of planet earth, running the power cable thru the wall like that is not to code.

ps. I did the same thing ;)
I am in Denver, but according to CEDIA each state has differing codes on running the power cord like this. I really do not kow what we could have done differently save wall fish an dedicated ring for the power or inserting it into conduit. But, it turned out clean and there was not hum.
There is a discussion on this very topic.

It's not?! Well, what the heck are we supposed to do with it, then?

I guess just make a pact that we won't rat each other out. :p

As long as CEDIA doesn't find out we wont lose our certifications, lol.
