High Pitch Noise From My RCA D52W25 CRT Projection.

I purchased my RCA D52W25 a little over a year and a half ago. I know RCA is not known for their quality and I am looking to upgrade real soon, but I am trying to get by for now. Anyways, I am having a high pitch noise coming from my TV when I turn it on. As the TV stays on for a little while (about 5 to 10 minutes), the noise goes away. I am trying to figure out if it is something major or minor going wrong with it. I took off the back panel today to try to pinpoint exactly where the noise was coming from, but was unable to put my finger on it without taking the whole TV apart. Does anyone have any ideas what it could be?

Thanks

I am experiencing this same problem with my TV. Were you able to find a solution?
There is a horizontal linearity coil in that set that has a tendency to sing like that. You can take the back off, wait till it starts making noise and push around, gently on the coils in the horizontal area by the flyback with a pencil. Once you find it, shut the set off and glop some RTV silicone from the coil to the pc board. Should shut it up.

BTW, those backs are held on by T20 power head screws.
