High resolution recording didn't start until 1998, so anything recorded before then, isn't high-resolution. It is digitized to a high-resolution sized bucket that is padded with zeros.
Most recordings that you can get are still not high-resolution. Very few labels really offer that. Take a look at AIX Records, 2L Records and Naxos for examples. I would be surprised if HD Tracks has any more than a couple of hundred REAL high-resolution recordings to offer.
