radco, yes, you can record to a network shared drive. Some people on this forum have a "backend" hipix server which will record, while a "client" Hipix machine plays back through the network what is being recorded on the backend machine. This allows for "live timeshifting" with the ability to keep a recording of what you are live timeshifting.
