Does anyone know how to make the HiPix software allow you connect to a networked file? My local drive is too small (30G) to store more than a couple of shows. I have a 1TB server that is networked across a 100Mb link. I would think with the 19.2Mb data rate from the HiPix that it wouldn't be a problem to handle streaming across a 100Mb LAN. But when ever I attempt to play a recorded show on the server the HiPix refuses to play and the networked drive is "x" in explorer. But I can read/write to the same attached network drive just fine with windows explorer. Any ideas?

I've also tried this without success.

Using the 2.31 software, you _can_ simply copy the files over the network from the remote server to your local machine and begin playback after the first file is copied. Just make sure that the files are being copied in the correct order. You might have to use a command-line tool instead of Explorer to make sure they're copied in the correct order.
