Is anyone else having problems with the latest version of the HiPix s/w (2.31)? When I pause a recorded show and continue, the audio stream dies. The same with the fast forward button. Plus after this point I can't close the HiPix app. I have to reboot the machine - Win2K w/ SP2. The audio is feed from the AC3 connector directly into the a/v receiver so there no SB in between the 2.

I have NOT seen this problem on my system - Win2k SP2.

I have it configured exactly the same as you do also.


You know the standard drill with the Hipix What Mboard are you using? Ali/Via chipset based or Intel.

No such problems under Win98SE with 2.31

I have been able to crash the HiPix application

a few times by playing with the timeline

slider. If you drag it near the end of the

show and then try to go back and forward

a bit it sometimes gives and error popup

and the HiPix application dies. Hasn't

happened very often though.
