Is there a way to clear the list? It has to be taking up hard drive space.

It's almost assuredly not taking up any space that could be used for recordings, and the list doesn't take up any significant amount of space compared to the available space.

It can't be erased, but it "only" keeps 250 transactions, but they cycle fast, as every time you record or erase anything, it goes into the history.

According to deepthinker in this thread http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...light=history, history can be erased. Unfortunately, it erases recorded programs and scheduled recordings also.
