Made up my mind finally after much hand wringing and teeth gnashing.


Best deal I can find now is $2195. less 10% at Sears if I use their card. Good thru 11/21/01. Their new, more restrictive 'price match policy' eliminates most online pricing.


No sales tax or shipping charges if I pick it up at one of their stores in Delaware. Price after disc. is $1975. Will probably get the optional stand at $199. less 10%.


N E 1 know if I can do better? Thanks in advance.

Many of us have purchased the same tv at Sears for around $1650... I would print out the threads here and at the hitachi forum on the home theater spot and bring them into your local sears and demand the same deal everyone else got. I know several of the folks on the forum would be willing to e-mail you their receipts as well to prove it.
