Just as an FYI to everyone that's concerned about the shared DVI/component input:


--I checked with Hitachi, and you can hook up to both the DVI and component input simultaneously. To see the component source, you have to turn off the DVI source. If both are on, the DVI source will be shown.


So, not the greatest solution, but at least the component input isn't totally disabled if you use DVI.

I don't know the official reason, but they were pretty slow to update when the S series stuff came out a few months back. If I had to guess, they are waiting until all retailers have their inventory before they add info to the site.

Makes it difficult to use a PC connected with DVI if you have to turn it off...

Who uses the audio inputs on these TV's? I guess you might use it as a pass-through/switch, but otherwise I think the internal speakers are useless. For me, I don't even connect the audio to my TV.
