I just bought the 51f59 and its my first big screen tv. I am really new to all this stuff. I like pretty much everything about it, except the black is very dark on everything. Especially when i play xbox 360 connected via component I have tried changing the brightness and what not but i am really not noticing a difference. I was wondering if anyone nows of any tweaks I can do or optimal settings for the tv. I also have my dvd player connected threw hdmi and the black is still an issue. I did find one tweak but i dont now if it did anything ColorG - 01

APRTR-NTSC - 00

APRTR-SDTV - 00

SRTGA - 00 I changed these from the service menu please help.

Look in the "rear projection crt" forum. There are a couple xxf59 series threads in there, but there is one in particular for tweaks and settings.

Help, I own a 51f59 and pressed reset, this did not go very well. I found these settings which got me back to a tolerable level ut it is still kinda washed out. -High-
