Hello to all,
I am a complete newbie to this forum. I had worked at CC for six years and got let go for selling to much, oh well. So I am not completely naive when it comes to the AV sector. Anyway I just picked up a Hitachi 51s700 for $1979 + tax and delivery. First question is this a good deal? Second question I just got it hooked up today and the picture seems to be a bit to red for my taste. I know that there has been a few threads about this and how to fix, but it was for the swx models. That particular model has different guns then mine, so will the tweaks work the same? I just ordered the AVIA Guide DVD so I should have that in a few days. Any help in tweaking this new model in would be greatly appreciated. I am also curious about what sort of antenna to get for the HDTV tuner, and also will I need a pre amp and rotator? I know this is a lot of questions but I would appreciate any help.
