I love my tv- have had it a few months- here's a question for you guys- in the top left of the picture there is a slight distortion, only noticable to perfectionists like me. it slightly bends downward. you can only notice when things are scrolling across the screen or linear. when i e-mailed hitachi- they said to have someone from sears come out and look at it. last thing i want is for someone from sears tearing open the back of my tv. has anyone here experienced anything like this and if so how was it fixed ? thanks in advance

Are you on smooth wide?

How much of a tweaker are you..

I don't want to reply and get you going if you don't want to, but that can probably be tweaked right out of the set.

I also have a Hitachi 61" SWX10B

Did you do a manual convergence, or check the geometry in the service menu?

Did you adjust overscan?

Center the image? Tilt correction?

I am quite sure thier is an easy fix for it.

My first recomendation is to purchase AVIA and hit it with some test patterns. That should give you a good idea of whats going on with it, and help you explain it better.

With that... I am quite sure that I and some others can help you tweak that left corner distortion right out of it, and improve your general PQ too...
