Anyone experiencing the same problem.

Im using a HTPC.

Have not tried a progressive dvd player yet.

Any resolution above 800x600 using ether the rgb or dvi input and I get tearing on horizontal pans regardless of refresh rates. Ive tried 1024/1280/1360 at 48/60/72/75.

Its not my PC. When I plug into a dlp or my plasma its fine.

HD material is fine.

No problem on mine through RGB. I don't have a DVI card. I've run at 1024x768, 1280x1024, 1360x1024 and 1600x1200 with no problems...other than the fact that at some resolutions I don't get a totally full screen even if I set it at the Full aspect ratio. Other than that, the picture is beautiful.

I did see a post a while ago about someone who had a problem just like yours with DVI. There's a search feature available on this forum. ;)

ChuckD,

are you saying you got 1360x1024 mapped 1:1? Not clipped to 1280? A long time ago there was a thread about this and the best 1:1 mapping achieved was 1280x1024. Anything above that resolution was clipped.
