I bought my first HDTV last week, and it was the 57F510. I love it so far, but I saw the 57F500 on sale at CompUsa for $740 less then what I paid for my TV.
I assume that the F500 is just last year's model. How much of an improvement is the F510 over the F500? I like the outside sytling of the F510 better, but I just want some idea of other improvements that would justify keeping my current TV.
Thanks!
Edit: From what I can tell from the press releases from both lines, the F500 has a "high-contrast" screen, Virtual 1080i, and a DVI input. The F510 has a "super-contrast" screen, Virtual 1080p, HDMI input, new 9-point convergence, and a slimmer profile.
The biggest difference seems to be the lens system, but how much of an improvent is it really?
