When I run Magic Focus, the corners of the red blue and green steps are skewed. I don't have an actual picture but have attached an example. Is this normal? My convergence grid does not seem skewed at all. I don't think I have a problem but was surprised that the corner pieces were not square.

Perfectly normal. I can usually watch the pattern get twisted and pulled several ways as the DCU figures out what adjustments to make. There are sensors behind the screen which detect the edges of the pattern and provide the feedback for this process. One of the reasons you can't set the overscan too low is that the pattern will then no longer illuminate the sensors.
