Newbie here and far from tech saavy, so this may be an easy or difficult question, but hopefully someone here can help:
I work in an office and my boss asked me to bring in an HD DVD player for our Hitachi CP-SX5600 projector. It has a DVI input, so we have a DVI to HDMI cable running from it to the player (a Toshiba HD-A30).
The problem is when we turn on the HD DVD player, the projector gives us a "Sync Out Of Range" error and we can't even get the menu picture for the player, let alone play a disc.
Anyone know how to correct this problem? The manuals for both haven't been much help (at least to me).
I'd be happy to provide futher info, if needed.
