I bought 5x 1TB Hard Drives from NewEgg with the rebate promotion that ran from Dec 4th - Dec 31st.


Hitachi is running a new rebate promo from Jan 1 - Jan 15. I want to buy 3 more drives to fill out my raid card, but I'm not sure if I will qualify for the rebate since the previous rebate said max of 5 drives.


I would assume I do qualify b/c they are two totally different rebates - different times, different rebate claim numbers.


I emailed the rebateshq company that manages, but it will be a couple days before they get back to me.

You'll be fine. I've done thousands of dollars worth of that stuff. With a different promotion number you're going to have no problems.

I bought 4 more - 3 to fill out the 8x card, 1 for a backup while I wait for an RMA!
