currious myself as well.
The SP10 is best suited for tiny sealed subs,or to be mated with a PR in a small box. Very much a la Sunfire.

Enter the parameters in WinISD and model it. I was about to get two of these, problem is with the poor Xmax(Xmech a good deal higher)they will not deliver much in terms of SPL down deep.

Quality looks on par with the Sunfire drivers(good) but only a great idea for a sealed or ported(PR) sub for a small room with a major gain in the bass.

The driver sure looks mean, for a 10" it is one of the most fearsome looking drivers, when you check the Xmax...it deflates fast.
i modeled it in unibox and for a 43l ported box, it's flat to 25hz at 110db tuned to 23.5hz. driver doesn't reach xmax until 22 hz all at 500w. i didn't find the 15.5mm xmax was unreasonable for a ten inch sub, i'm more concerned with the SQ of these drivers and low volume listening-iheard somewhere that they don't respond to low listening levels at all due to high motor force. Any thoughts ?
Looks like this a very similar driver to the driver used in the Sunfire Mark II or newer EQ (non Signature subs).

SQ should not be a problem.More than that only an owner who has one can confirm.
ok, i'll give you an overview and maybe some suggestions from you? Ported enclosure 1.5l 50/50 home theater/music. Amp power available [email protected]/[email protected] with onboard parametric/cross/subsonic 30hz at12db. Driver suggestion either 10 ro 12 diameter. I'm leaning towards eDo10v.2
So you didn't like my suggestions over at HTF?

I did look up your drivers but they're all used and i can't find them new. Any help with new resources?
If I remember correctly, I did suggest ED as well as the Dayton RS series. The older 10" OEM TC Sounds on Ebay were a steal for anyone needing a driver that size.
