HK 430 vs 435?

I recently bought a nice Mitsubishi 62" DLP but am now experiencing the infamous lip sync problem where audio comes slightly before the video. This problem occurs when watching Directv or DVDs - it makes no difference. My wife barely notices it but it's driving me crazy.

It looks like my best option is to purchase one of those AVR receivers that have an audio delay feature. I currently have a Harman Kardon AVR 125 (which doesn't have the delay feature) and I've been very satisfied. So I thought I'd stick with Harman Kardon and buy either the AVR 430 or 435. Does anyone know what the differences are between these two units? I noticed that there are some refurbished units (I think only the 430) selling on ebay for fairly cheap - has anyone had any experience purchasing such items off of ebay? I'm not sure if I should go that route or just buy local.

Finally, I can't find any information about what the maximum amount of delay the 430/435 supports. I read somewhere that you want at least 100 milliseconds. Does anyone know what the limit is for these units? Is 100 milliseconds more than enough? Will all my lip sync troubles go away if I get one of these receivers?

I just set up my hk335 this afternoon and have been playing around with the lip sync delay. Given my occupation, (check my user id) I'm rather sensitive to that issue. The maximum delay on the 335 is 80ms. I've only played with one dvd so far, but a 16ms delay appears to achieve perfect sync. This is with a Samsung HLN437W1 connected to a Samsung 941 via the dvi input. I would think that 80ms is more than enough to correct for any video delay introduced by a display's processing. I suspect there are dvds that have lip sync problems that are independent of the display though. I've seen this on a couple of rentals like "Sky Captain" where there were a few individual scenes that were waaaay out of sync. To my eye it appeared that that those instances were around 7, maybe as much as 10 frames out of sync or almost 1/3rd of a second. However, on the next scene, sync was good. I know a feature film wouldn't have been released in that state (even if the scene was looped) so I can only assume it's a problem with the dvd. Sorry I can't help you on the differences between the 430 and 435.

Thanks for the info! I guess I should mention that I also have the Samsung 941 connected via the HDMI input.
It is well known...

That the Samsung DLP displays slow the video down due to their internal processing.. So having an AVR with Sync delay is required..
