HK 435 or Denon 2106

I have been looking at getting either of these refurbished. I am not running any video through them. The only thing that is pushing me to the hk is the warranty with the refurbished. I also like the EQ set up. A local retailer recommended the 2106 though. Please let me know your thoughts.

If I am not mistaken, the 2106 does not have Audyssey, which IMO is the only reason to pick Denon over similar priced products from HK or Marantz.
any other thoughts or comments on them.
What is Audyssey?

I think the HK has better zone 2 capabilities - separate remote control, ability to have a different zone 2 source without using an external amp. It also allows cross-over to be set for each channel, not just one setting for the entire system (as the Denon does).

OTOH, 2106 is XM-ready, if that's helpful for you. Also, I don't think the HK does any video signal conversion to component, if you're looking to use it as a video source consolidator.
