Title pretty much says it all. I can pick up either of these for around $500. I don't know if there are any authorized Denon Dealers that have it for this price, but JandR.com has the HK for $500. I am planning on getting the axiom, energy, or klipsch speakers if that is of any help. Any input on these receivers would be most appreciated.

The 520 is a excellent piece of equipment, well worth it at $500. I like Denon also, but I think the HK Receivers are amoung the best at 2 channel Stereo etc... There is or might be a slight problem with 7 Logic playback using the 7 channel mode. Good luck.

klipsch go good well with HK receivers. Try and go listen to both receivers. Just like TV and computer monitors, try before you buy
