I was rather bummed recently when my 3 month old AVR 7300 center channel decided to give me the silent treatment. Movies just aren't the same without any dialogue :-(

I had a 7200 prior to this for about a year with no reliability issues.

I'm hoping this is just an isolated case but I wanted to post here and see if any other 7300 owners have had issues with channels going out. Anyone else have issues with this?

Other than this *hopefully* minor issue I love my 7300 though. We'll see how good HK customer service is...

I am pleased to report back that my receiver is fixed without any service hassles. Back up and running again!

Just make sure to save your proof of purchases...long story.

I just wanted to report back on my positive experience with authorized service so there weren't any misconceptions from my previous post.

Found the closest authorized dealer on H/K's website. It is actually pretty well organized which was a nice break from hunting and pecking through Sony's site in the past.

The amplifier for the center channel went out after 3 months of use. Originally there was some confusion regarding the purchase receipt because this unit was purchased new under an incentive plan.

After discussing the problem with H/K, the unit was actually completely replaced within 2 weeks of me bringing the problem to their attention.

I'm now up and running again watching movies in the theater without lip reading!

This is actually what I did. But dialogue just wasn't the same without the ctr channel so I actually ended up watching movies on my old system upstairs.

All's fixed now. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it stays that way...
